ACTIVITIES OF THE ORGANISATION
The activities of the organisation are aimed at addressing the identified issues of social inclusion of immigrants:

1. Core social activities
The core activities of the organisation, which belongs to the group of social activities, aims to develop a network of Social Mentors (volunteers) in Norway, which generally involves developing and sustaining real people-to-people contacts for better social inclusion of immigrants. For example, group gatherings and conversations that usually take place in public libraries, organising sports and cultural activities, or other activities depending on the specific situation at the local, regional, and national levels.

2. Additional organisational and promotional activities
To make our core social activities more efficient, we have developed a web platform that is used to facilitate the processes of:
  • Finding and establishing contacts between migrants, our Social Mentors, and other participants in the ecosystem of organisations involved in the social and labor inclusion of immigrants.
  • Promote an additional channel to collect donations for organisations having a "virtual office" on this platform.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PLATFORM FUNCTIONALITY
Using our web platform is FREE for non-profit organisations and institutions with a mission to enhance social and work inclusion of migrants (or similar).

The platform is organised as a "multi-office" hub with a graphic user interface (GUI) in English, allowing each user organisation to create their own "virtual office" with official data, description, "Terms and conditions", etc. (also see "Organisation type", "Country" and "City" drop-down boxes on the Home page).

A user organisation in its "virtual office" can have an unlimited number of "Content type entities": people, projects, and services (see "Content type" drop-down box on the Home page), and each of these entities has its own selected category and content language (see "Category" and "Content language" drop-down boxes on the Home page).

This method allows easier searching of people, projects, and services using filtering through drop-down boxes, visually on the map, or using the text search function. These functionalities are located on the Home page or on the "Organisations" page (link from the main menu).

When the desired content type entity page is selected and opened, more relevant information will be displayed, such as description and contact details, how to follow the person on the social network www.pansocial.com, a "DONATE" button, etc.
